- Company founded in 1969 by Fred Engelke and Ernst Littfinski, two German immigrants with machine tool backgrounds, looking for the American dream start FAN Manufacturing to service and rebuild machine tools in Menomonee Falls, WI.
- 1974 Ernst Littfinski, former North American serviceman for Doerries Sharmann secures partnership with DS to be the "Scharmann Service Center" for North America. Ron Engelke, son of Fred, joins FAN as an apprentice.
- 1977 Ron Engelke moves to Rheydt, Germany for a year to work as an apprentice at Doerries Scharmann; completing their technical training program and learning their product lines.
- 1983 new machines and equipment are offered as Ron Engelke becomes the Sales Director.
- 1994 Ron Engelke purchases FAN Manufacturing from its founders, renaming it, EURO Machinery Specialists, Inc.
- 1997 Karl Engelke, son of Ron, begins working at EURO assisting in the shop while completing his bachelor's degree.
- 2005 EURO wins first Turn-Key order for machining line project at General Dynamics, Karl Engelke serves as Project Manager.
- 2006 Karl Engelke moves to Rheydt, Germany for sales apprenticeship at Doerries Scharmann Technology (DST). Kelly Engelke joins him completing a marketing apprenticeship at DST.
- 2007 Kelly Engelke joins EURO Machinery Specialists as Marketing Director and assists with government RFQs.
- 2019 Kelly Engelke becomes Chief Financial Officer.
- 2021 Karl Engelke becomes President, EURO Machinery Specialists.
